How often do you update your data sources?
Sanctions
We are constantly monitoring the relevant sources to ensure our clients do not miss out on information about a sanctioned entity. Priority is given to speed and quality of updates of the key global sanctions programs issued by OFAC, UN, EU, and HMT, for which automated checks identify changes within seconds of being published. These updates are reflected on our database and available for screening within a couple of hours of changes being detected, often before the official notification email from OFAC is received.
Watchlists (Warning and Fitness & Probity)
The range is between every day and once a month, depending on factors like the importance of the list, country tiers, etc.
Politically Exposed Persons (PEP)
Major updates occur after elections, cabinet reshuffles, or coups. We follow all election news and update the PEP data accordingly as the results become available. Monitoring is scheduled daily and we track the reliability of the sources on a monthly basis, regardless of elections, to ensure no technical issues appear.
Adverse Media
If an article is selected by our algorithms to be displayed within a profile (or a hit), it will appear on it 24-48 hours after it is published.
